Heavy Boots Keep Us All From Floating Away

A funny blogpost that I think is pretty accurate. Roughly, the guy talks about how very smart people can just sometimes make boneheaded assumptions that make sense in a certain tight logic but completely ignore reality. In this instance, the guy explains an exchange with a philosophy professor that thinks that the only thing that kept the astronauts from floating away when they were on the moon was "heavy boots." I smell a Sonic Youth song coming on.
